Frequently asked questions
What counts as an asset?
One physical device (laptop, server, monitor), one software seat (per-user SaaS license), or one cloud resource (EC2 instance, S3 bucket). Hardware in storage that isn't assigned to a user still counts, because you're still tracking it.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up at app.ontrackio.com/signup. Your workspace starts on the Business tier with full features and no card required. After 14 days you pick a tier. If you don't, the workspace goes read-only with a 30-day data-export grace window.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Self-serve in the billing portal. We bill annually; cancelling mid-term ends auto-renewal but keeps the workspace live until the current term ends.
What happens to my data on cancellation?
Read-only access for 30 days while you export. Full CSV/JSON export of every table from the admin panel. After 30 days the tenant database is dropped per the data-retention policy.
What currency? VAT?
Euros, billed from OnTrackio ITAM UAB (Lithuania). EU customers with a valid VAT ID pay no VAT under reverse charge. Non-EU customers pay no VAT.
Do you offer non-profit or education pricing?
Yes. 30% off Business or Enterprise for registered non-profits and academic institutions. Email sales@ontrackio.com with your registration details.
