OnTrackio

Deployment

OnTrackio + Microsoft Intune

Deploy the OnTrackio agent to your whole fleet through the MDM you already run.

What you get

  • A signed Windows MSI and a signed, notarized macOS PKG built for silent MDM deployment
  • Fleet-wide rollout through Intune assignments instead of hand-installing laptops
  • Devices enrol against your workspace and start reporting inventory daily
  • The register reconciles against reality without anyone walking a spreadsheet around the office

How it connects

The agent ships as standard MDM-deployable packages: assign the MSI to your Windows groups and the PKG to your macOS groups, pass the enrolment parameters the guide documents, and devices appear in your workspace as they check in. Jamf and other MDMs follow the same pattern with the same packages.

What it deliberately does not do

This is deployment, not a data integration: OnTrackio does not read Intune's device inventory or write compliance state back into it. The agent's own reporting is deliberately narrow, covering hardware specs, installed software, and usage sessions, and the full collected-data list is public in the docs.

Frequently asked questions

Does OnTrackio pull device data from Intune itself?

No. Inventory comes from OnTrackio's own endpoint agent, which you deploy through Intune. That keeps the data path simple and the collected-data list short and public, at the cost of not covering devices the agent does not run on, which the register handles as manually tracked entries.

What does the agent collect?

Hardware specification, installed applications, OS and agent version, and daily usage sessions. No browsing history, no file contents, no keystrokes. The exhaustive list is published in the documentation and is intentionally boring.

Can employees see the agent running?

Yes, deliberately: a tray icon shows what is reported and when. An agent your employees can inspect beats one they discover in a forum thread.

All integrations: the full list. Identity posture, sub-processors, and residency: the security page.
