Frequently asked questions
What counts as an asset?
One tracked hardware device: a laptop, desktop, server, monitor, or piece of network gear. Hardware in storage that isn't assigned to anyone still counts, because you're still tracking it. Software licenses and contracts are tracked too, but they don't count toward your asset total.
How do I get started?
Book a 30-minute demo to see the platform. Onboarding is self-serve: import your assets from CSV, Snipe-IT, or Lansweeper, or deploy the endpoint agent to auto-discover hardware and software. Pricing is on this page, so there's no email gate to see the numbers.
Do you offer setup help?
Onboarding is self-serve and built to be quick: CSV import, a migrate-from-another-tool importer (Snipe-IT, Lansweeper, ServiceNow, and more), and an endpoint agent that auto-discovers your estate. If you'd rather we run the setup for you, hands-on onboarding is available as a paid add-on. Ask sales for a quote.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Self-serve in the billing portal. We bill annually; cancelling mid-term ends auto-renewal but keeps the workspace live until the current term ends.
What happens to my data on cancellation?
Read-only access for 30 days while you export. Full CSV/JSON export of every table from the admin panel. After 30 days the tenant database is dropped per the data-retention policy.
What currency? VAT?
Euros by default; US customers can be billed in US dollars. Both are invoiced by OnTrackio ITAM UAB (Lithuania). EU customers with a valid VAT ID pay no VAT under reverse charge. Non-EU customers pay no VAT.
Do you offer non-profit or education pricing?
Yes. 30% off Business or Enterprise for registered non-profits and academic institutions. Email sales@ontrackio.com with your registration details.
